Sherry’s path to real estate was a journey rather than a destination, a journey she always wanted to travel and one that continues to grow and evolve today. She is a firm believer that every home has a story, and she considers herself fortunate to have been a part of so many stories over her 13 years in real estate.
Sherry’s roots run deep in the area. She attended school in Waltham and spent her summers in the Rexhame Beach area of Marshfield. Upon completing her education, she began her professional career focusing on sales. She worked as an Administrative Recruiter, where she quickly became a top producer before moving into a role as a Sales Coordinator for a major publishing company.
Sherry made her home permanently in Marshfield 30 years ago to raise her family. As a single mom,Sherry held down a full-time job while raising her children. After feeling the pull of her calling, Sherry began working toward her real estate license in 2009. In 2014, she took the leap and launched a full-time real estate career.
Since the beginning of her career, Sherry has put her heart and soul into her work. She has earned two awards and is regularly a top producer. She continues expanding her business and client base by either getting the best price for their home or advocating for them as they search for their forever home.
Sherry stays up to date in the ever-changing and quickly evolving real estate industry. She believes that to serve her clients well, she must continue to learn, keep up with current market trends and consistently improve her skills.
Sherry attributes her success to her commitment to her clients. Whether they’re buying or selling, her devotion is unwavering. Throughout the entire home buying and selling process, Sherry is focused on her clients’ goals and her role in making them a reality. The trust she builds, and her effective negotiations bring about the best outcomes for everyone.
To provide professional representation for my clients, and to ensure a positive outcome by effectively negotiating on their behalf using skill, market knowledge and courtesy.
Sherry’s determination and her passion for her work has been described as “professionally tenacious”. This business is about relationship building, and she is deeply committed to that end. She stresses that this job is about her clients – their dreams and goals – and she does not lose sight of that. Her clients know that she is watching out for them and that her goal is a successful outcome for them. Selling someone’s home is not just a business transaction, most often there is an emotional component to the sale. Every home is unique, and has its own story. She has a natural understanding and easily approaches this piece pragmatically with a keen ability to effectively balance with the business side.
Sherry has held various other sales positions since 1987, an Administrative Search Representative and a Sales Coordinator, and Realtor. During her 13 years in real estate, she has benefited from extensive professional development and training necessary to keep up with current trends and to expand her knowledge base.
She is the founder of the Marshfield Realtor’s Cooperative, a group of Marshfield Realtors invested in the community and interested in staying informed as to changes that could affect the town and its residents. The group meets a few times each year hosting town department heads, non-profit groups, and local community leaders. The meetings offer the group a forum to discuss what makes the Marshfield community unique, and to gain an in-depth understanding of what Marshfield offers to its residents. In addition, for the last four years the group has partnered with the MPSD School McKinney Vento Liaison and hosted a holiday fundraiser for students experiencing homelessness and families in need. These fundraisers have brought the real estate community together to provide this student population with holiday cheer.
Sherry was recently appointed to her second 3-year term on the Town of Marshfield’s Advisory Board. She enjoys this role and being a part of the team that reviews the budget for the Town.
Sherry believes that building a strong community is the key to it thriving: “The South Shore has so much to offer and is not just a great place to vacation, it’s a great place to call home.”
